Smooth Locomotion 250 mg can be given to pets of all ages, including puppies and kittens. This formula has been specially developed for small dogs up to approximately 5 kg, cats, rabbits and guinea pigs.
As a general guideline, we recommend 1 tablet (250 mg) per 2.5 kg body weight per day. During the initial period, the dosage may be increased temporarily if desired. Once the desired level of support has been achieved, usually after 1 to 2 weeks, the dosage can be gradually reduced to the lowest effective maintenance level.
The tablets have no distinct taste or smell and are generally well accepted by most pets. They can be given directly by hand, mixed with food, or hidden in a favourite treat.
For pets weighing approximately 5 kg or more, larger 1000 mg tablets are also available.
Do not use during pregnancy or in cases of diarrhea.
